Tip of the Week: One of the most common form of animal cruelty is the abandonment of dogs. As pet owners fail to understand and control the behavior of their dogs when they go around chewing shoes and furniture, barking, urinating in the wrong places, etc, they 'give up hope' and abandon them.

Well, it is our responsibility to spend some quality time daily to train your dog! It will take some patience, and a lot of love. But remember, just like us human, learning as we get older, animals learn as they grow too! And what is better than to spend some quality time to bond with man's best friend?

Washing Machine for Pets: Animal Abuse?

Innovative and creative, maybe. Moving on with the times toward automation, arguably. Animal cruelty? Definitely!

Sometimes I just don't understand people. You want to get a dog/cat, keep it, feed it, play with it, and so on. But part of the deal when having a living, breathing creature who feels happy, sad, frighten, angry, and pain, is to love it, take good care of it, cherish it, and protect it.

Cleaning up and bathing a dog is part of an owner's responsibilities! In fact, its an excellent opportunity for man and dog to bond and get closer than ever! I always ask myself this, would a father or a mother put their own sons and daughters into a similar situation? Don't these lovely cats and dogs deserve your love and care, too?

Why are people so lazy that they'd rather chuck the poor thing into a machine? Imagine how stressed the dog and especially cat will be when the dryer turns on, with all the noise and mayhem in such an enclosed space?

I'm not sure about you, but to me, these people are being a bit too "clever", and it is just not right...

Verdict: Animal Abuse. Animal Cruelty.

If some people are too lazy to even bath their pets, then they should not be keeping a pet in the first place!

Shame on them!

This is not. I do this to my cat and continue watching it until the water is almost to high. Coming out, it is safe and clean. shaken by cold water but nothing more. I swear to you putting animals in it is safe. Disagree. Please reach me at 215 343 8758. Ask for Dennis Ruff. I prefer calls after 10:00pm EST Thank you

Hi Dennis,

I understand your point that it is 'safe and clean', and generally, no harm is done to the creature.

But ask yourself this, you buy or adopt a pet to have it as your faithful companion and to love and to cherish it, yes?

Then spare a thought for your faithful companion... 'why is my friend not willing to spend time bathing me and playing with me anymore?'...

Ask yourself this, would a mother or father of their child put their young son or daughter through the same thing, further removing human touch and connection, even though it may be 'safe and clean'?

I hope you see my point. Thanks.

About the washing machine for animals that is wrong because you have to do things with your animal not just drop it of at animal grooming place to have them do it you shoud. That is way I think that it should not be alound to be around.

What's cruel about a clean poodle? Sure he may be scared the first time or two, but that poodle looks like he's scared of everything!

This isn't cruelty, you're just being a duchebag.

your comments clearly show that you know nothing about animals, and that u are just plain lazy jerk and a moron.

guys, we understand that you wouldn't put your children in this machine, but some people simply don't have time to wash their animals and take them to the groomers. plus, animals aren't your children. i have animals, 4 dogs, 6 cats, and a turtle, and i love them to death, but they are not my children. christ.

Definitely a wrong one to do to animals. Washing machines are not for living creatures.

i am very against animal cruelty and dont say im not because none of you know me but i dont think this is cruelty because its cleaning the animals and drying them in an unhurtful manner and also if it hurt the animal i think it would be crying in pain, ALSO they say the woman got in and i dont think she would get in herself if it was painful..... cruelty would be leaving the animals to get very dirty and if a dog doesnt behave in a bathtub it will be squirming about and possibly hurt itself by trying to jump out. some of you people need to listen and look out for the dogs reactions and how it acts before you start saying stuff out your ass. the dog to me doesnt look to be in any sort of pain at all so thats why i dont think this is animal abuse

i would like to add to my previous comment, the dogs are being cleaned in a good way the arent being drowned in the cleaning process and its not like an actual spinning washing machine some people might not be able to clean their dogs by hand either because they might have a problem which prevents them from doing it and personally i wouldnt mind being put in that machine it looks like luxury compared to what i have to do to get a decent shower

omg pleeeease stop whining, if the dog owner wants to clean their dog that way its their business - give it a rest! !!
